The Vedic Truth and Sri Ramkrishna Deva as a Hindu
16. In
one of his versions, Sri Ramkrishna says – “The band of ‘Baul’ came, danced and
sang but they passed by unnoticed”.
‘Baul’ is a sect of religious
mendicants having no caste system or any kind of ritualism or incantations of
‘Mantra’ or religious codified words. They simply ventilate their inward
emotional thought through songs, live on alms and pursue an itinerant life.
Sri Ramkrishna in his saying
means to say that he, an Avatar with his retinue came down from his heavenly
abode to shower a world of benefit and bliss to the humanity but the unworthy
human race gave them neither due appreciation nor proper respect nor
appropriate homage to him and his retinue.
The benefit he showered is
only in the imperative mood – “Do this and do that! If you fail to achieve then
it is your shortcoming and the blame rests with you and solely with you. His
fundamental injunction is “Give up wealth and woman”. It is a paradox and the humanity
cannot obey. This is not the first time the human race hears it but they heard
it before as it was so spoken – “Give up everything and follow me”. Nay, not
here also, a bit ahead, Lord Buddha with a begging bowl in his hand showed it
to the mankind. None followed it. It is impractical.
The Vedic “Para Vidya” does
not ask the humanity to appreciate it, or to pay homage or respect to it but it
is distributed and distributed free or charge without any distinction and also
without any injunction of giving up or do this or do that, but it is the
short-coming of “Diamond” if the fails to distribute to each and every member
of the human race and the blame rests alone with him.
Yes, as for benefit and bliss
there is “Oneness” which proves ‘Unity in Diversity’ and the man is the living
Supreme One or Brahma.
