The Vedic Truth and Sri Ramkrishna Deva As a Hindu
27. Several
times Sri Ramkrishna remarked: – “He transforms them into his own image –
Tadakarakarita”.
This is the vital Vedic term on which the Vedic principle and the eternal truth of the humanity are based. This is like a meteor rising high up in the sky and illuminating the fact of ‘Oneness’ with a living man announcing ‘Brahmahood’ for each member of the human race.
It is ‘Svenarupena Abhinispadyate’
or by rendering every one into his own image and thus making him ‘One’ with him
in the Atmic sphere within the human body. Whereas Sri Ramkrishna explains the
thing in an anti-Vedic-tone.
‘Tadakarakarita’ with him is
but to be merged and melted in the ‘Mahakarana’ or the Great or First Cause
that is the Absolute. The Vedic truth deals with living humanity where there is
no vagueness or hazy idea. It is definite and sure and alive and the testimony
about its ‘aliveness’ will be born and corroborated by scores of thousands.
Sri Ramkrishna used two
metaphors in relation to it:
(i) The vessel plunges in the
black ocean and never returns.
(ii) A salt doll went to
measure the depth of the ocean but it got melted in it.
The metaphors are
inapplicable and illusory and leave a man to grope in the dark and to reach
nowhere.
In his own life, he made an
exception to the general rule of being melted in the Absolute. His version was
that only ‘Avatars’ come back from his state. He was an ‘Avatar’, so he came
back to teach the wrong, misguiding and also imaginary interpretation of the
Vedic term ‘Tadakarakarita’ – the most, nay, the only realistic feature which
has come down to the human race in the annals of religions of the world. It is
every man’s personal and so his dearest possession and a thing to be cherished
forever and anon.
